From Ashes

There are situations that we are in that are better left unnoticed for fear that every unwanted emotion might resurface again. We do everything in our power to hide them. In these moments when we intently control what comes in and out of us, we miss things that are meant to ignite growth and transformation within. We prolong the orchestrated time when we need to get out from the deepest and darkest part of ourselves so our shadows will be exposed to the light. Courage takes a big role in this transformation and it takes just one little thought of the possibility to reach your ultimate good. Just one little thought that change is possible, that you can emerge from the ashes and transform. It is painful. It is a deep and painful purging. Old skin, old habits, old ways will be shed off. Running back from your comfort zone is quicker and easier but once you take your first step, there will be no turning back. Either you stay still or you move forward, but you cannot go back to that “safe” place you hid yourself in. It is when you feel you are most uncomfortable and conflicted. While you are experiencing all these, you will feel a subtle pull to take that tiny little step to move forward. That pull will keep nudging you until you finally submit to take that step, then the next, then, off you go. Off you go to a place where everything is hurting and all the painful memories of that particular moment arise. All will be excruciatingly painful and will seem to have no end. But believe me, there will be more. In this time, you will feel the need to surrender. That realization that you have to stop resisting and let the pain transform you. You will have the urge to think and think and think of reasons to understand why is the purging happening to you. And after all the exhausting and unsatisfying reasoning, you will fight resistance with surrender. You will only come down to one thing - flow. You will ironically decide to flow. Flow with the pain, flow with the purging, flow with all the hurtful unwanted memories and all the unrecognized parts of yourself. Flow and own. Those are all yours. You will be enlightened and will come to a realization that those things are indeed yours. Those are your painful memories, those are things that make up a part of yourself. The process of transformation has now become personal. You realize that the pain is not inflicted. Those hurtful feelings did not come externally but happened from the inside. It is your higher self knocking from the inside and desires that these issues be let out from the deepest part of your heart. It is you all along. The urge to transform and come out closer to your ultimate good is a desire you ignited all along. It is you. You called yourself to do it. Then, you will be kinder. You will be more gentle, you will be more accepting and loving because it is a process you have to go through for yourself and by yourself. You will breathe deeper and will feel more. You will comfort yourself more. You will realize that you are lighter. You now begin to smile and start to see the beauty in the simplest of things. You now notice that things are not always as they seem and it is beautiful. There is beauty in things that you see and there is beauty in not knowing everything. In this pleasant time, you now understand that there is beauty in not understanding and letting things be. You flow with the wind. You flow with the water, with the noise, with the grey clouds. You flow with yourself, you flow with the universe. And you flow with love, in perfect love. You are love.

inspiring! there is beauty in ashes that only a few realize it, and while for a moment we believe its the end, but the moment we allow God to breath into our ashes, that is when we find meaning to life and purpose.
