Do I?

Do I actually have power? Do I actually have a choice? You make me question my worth. You make me question how much power I have. This connection makes me question whether I, or anyone, truly has the ability to choose or not choose something for themselves. Are we one with the universe, or is the universe against us? Can I actually escape this connection? Is it possible to choose this particular pain and be happy at the same time? How much power and control do I actually have to navigate this connection without losing myself or giving up parts of myself? Does this connection deserve to exist? Is it meant to exist? Are there things meant to simply exist and remain unchanged? Are there things meant not to be transformed or changed? Does time have inherent power, or do we control time based on our perceived power? Am I meant to do something about this connection, or should I simply flow with the current?
