Complicated Simplicity

As I listen to Erik Satie’s Gymnopedie no.1 , I think of how you’ll think it’s simple yet complex at the same time, how you’ll share your music that makes me feel the same.

But while I’m listening to it, like really listen to it, I think of the simple times we were together...

How you simply look at me in the eyes and just stare at them,

How you make everything that we are as simple as possible,

as bare as possible,

as raw as possible,

as simple and as complex as possible.
